Is it possible to unsubscribe from the game and return at a later date?

I can only find the option to delete my account from which I assume I have to create another completely different account when I want to return under a different call sign/handle/whatever it's called.

Is that correct? Is that the only option?

As alluded to here -

4. Deleted Accounts - Once a members account has been deleted, by HiTech Creations or member, it CANNOT be reactivated. A new account would need to be created with a e-mail address for reception of password. No guarantee is made or implied regarding the availability of the same handle or game ID.

I do not believe this is an option. Unfortunately for me I'm going o have to delete my account when i ship out in February just to bring it back 10 months later... i hope no one snags my name....

You guys might want to call HTC on Monday (they closed for the holiday weekend) at (817) 251-1540. If you explain to them whats up, they might have a work around. I have heard something about suspending accounts.

Your name is locked, nobody can use it again.

If you come back you can call and get your name back. You will lose all of your perk points.

I think they can 'freeze' your account.

when i went to boot camp in '04, i sent an email to HTC telling them the situation and they froze my account. was easy.
