What the hell happened with Timlin, Okajima and Paplebon working 7-9?

I watched that last night on NESN.  Gange absolutely sucked worse than I've seen a closer suck since Danny Graves.  Every pitch was off balance, up in the zone without any movement and probably looked as fat as a beech ball to the Angels at the plate.

Here come the Yanks...
