too many processes

i get a bit of lag when i am normally about to fire but i have about 42 processes running any god programs out there to cut it down yes i did use the search bar but the posts were pretty old and i just wanna know if there is anything new out there oh and i use vonage if that has any thing to do with it last thing i want is vonage getting cut off if i use FSautostart or enditall please and thank you

I had EndItAll2 until one of my good friends (who makes a living off working on computers and plays online games a lot) take it off.  I liked it.

when you upgrade to a killer computer you don't need those things any more  :D

AlacrityPC is a good free program that works well too.

FSAutoStart (AlacrityPC now) will stop the processes, and then START them again when AH closes.

I don't really know.  He said I didn't need it (while i have over 50 processes going in the background).  He did so without my permission.

This is generally caused by sub-par sound hardware. I'd guess that you have an onboard sound chip. When it rushes to grab the gun sound, everything else has to stop and wait for it. Hence the lag.

hmmm thanks guys use full info here and i wish i had a nice pc ..... cant even run the new terrain  :cry but i will try AlacrityPC

dang. well i tried to download AlacrityPC but it wont let me for some reason i think its about the .net framework 2.0.......and i have no clue what that is HELP!

hahahahaha that was cool i know i coulda done that but i am not a techy what so ever and i am scared that if i mess with my pc too much i will break it.........and we dont want that now do we?
