took a hit to my fuel tank, it was either from .50 cal or base ack.  I had already ditched my DT, here is a screen shot showing the visible fuel hit.



And here is an image of the visible fuel hit and damage list which shows no damage of any kind.




I've ran into something similar in p-38's, lose a wing or wingtip and it flies as though you have lost a wing or wingtip. Look out to the side however and you have a full wing. Same thing showing with the damage list (no damage according to it) I posted the 38 wing bug awhile back. And the impression I got was it has something to do with custom skins.

I've seen that effect in other F4Us, not just the 1C. Started trailing smoke, but no fuel leak.

Also, the wing tanks in at LEAST the 1A are still positioned incorrectly. They should be in the outer wing, but they have them placed in the wingroot area where the oilcoolers are located.

Don't think 38's visuals are a bug. Its just that the missing wing and normal wing both look almost identical from that angle. There is a subtle difference though, and I think Ack-Ack or Murdr had posted a gif earlier showing that difference. Gonna have to use that SEARCH thing everyone keeps talking about!:D

Your scenario though clearly is a bug. I wonder, did you really see the fuel gauge empty? Cause I remember once having seen this where a fuel leak appeared visually, but I didn't lose any fuel and damage list didn't register it either. It just kept tailing me like a big "HE'S WOUNDED, GANG HIM NOW" banner!:rolleyes:

No, according to my fuel gauge and E6b I was right where I should be fuel wise. I did notice one thing though, it was a long flight home and the fuel needle never moved. So, for all intents and purposes I didn't have a fuel leak.
