Warping / Discoed getting worse

Hey guys,
     The past couple of days have been really stressfull.  Was flying in KOTH and did nothing but warp all over the place.  Re-logged and nothing changed.  I checked my computer, disabled everything in the background (spam,virus protection...etc.) and still had problems.  Contacted Comcast Cable and they wern't having any service problems.
     Was plying in TT and getting discoed for no reason.  Again, shut down everything in background, still nothing has changed.  Of course, I get discoed at the worst possible time (perked ride, perfect shot, lots of kills to land)  The only thing I noticed was that when I re-logged, the arena caps were jumping around, and their were more players in the arena then the cap will allow.  So I wait, the cap drops and I get back in.  Again, discoed...
    Am I missing something.....?  Is their anything I can do from my end?  I have a pretty powerfull computer, way more than the game needs, but still I have problems.  Any suggestions ?

Get "Ping Plotter". Its a free program you can find using google. Install it, then check the "stickyed" post at the top of this forum on connection issues. There Skuzzy posted the address to the servers. Type the address into the ping plotter program and run it for a few minutes, set it to ping every 10 seconds or so to get a bunch of runs.  Then, take a screen shot and post it here. These guy will be able to tell you whether its showing any problems.

Comcast has been having consistent problems for some time now.  It seems their switch to Level3 for thier Internet transport is at the root of it all.

But, you still have not ruled out your computer.  Task Manage does not show all processes running.  There are ways for programs to hide from being shown on the task manager process list.  It is the same mechanism Microsoft uses to hide some of their own processes they do not want disturbed.

But there are also things which are not process related that can keep your CPU busy.  Such as a DoS attack on your network interface.  Anything network related will not show up in the Task Manager as a process.

Just note the CPU usage at the bottom center of the process list in the Task Manager.  It bounce like a heartbeat between 0 an 1.  Really steady, with no deviation.  If there is erratic or wide swings, then your computer CPU is still doing things it should not be doing when the desktop is idle.

I am on comcast and had the same problem Friday at KOTH discoed like 4 or 5 times then gave up, I had no problems at all the night before in the AvsA


29 processes on win XP ......  pingploted that day and did not save. but so no major spikes just small peak here & there


now, I recently went from a regular Motorola  cable modem to   a Arris  Digital voice/cable modem ( cable telephony )  this happened weds..........but I went in a redid my connect rules to AH in my router and for my own comps IP/submask  watchyamacallit #


some person in the KOTH, told me I needed to change some settings, said it was listed here in the Tech forum, but I have not seen anything about it or been able to research it.......

Thanks for a fast responce.  I will try the suggestions and see what happends.  Most of my major warping issues seem to effect KOTH only - rest of the MA, not so bad.  Thanks again

Yeah, i've been havin the same issues,and yes i have comcast.Although my warping is consistent most of the time.I did a ping plotter and found im getting pings of up to 700 to one of the ips, check out the img below.I can tell you that this sucks really bad as i just came back to fly AH again after an extended leave and it seems i will have to revert back to a leave of absence.
