haha actually it was dee nil, until hppy and ooooodeeee at the '98 con decided denial was better and it has stayed that ever since.  Long time ago when I first started WB it was dnif, for duties not involving flying, something that happened to me quite often in the USAF.  <hint, its not good going DNIF when your job is to fly>  I changed it to dnil for duties not involving losing    wew! long way to go on my name.

Also just to clear things up, it's "Villa" not "veela".  I'm not Bob Vila, I'm not related to him    I took my callsign from a British Sci-Fi Character.  But if you REALLY wanna call me "veela", go right ahead

Can I call you "Vee-uhhhh" then :-)

Wish I could have made those last 3 cons(4?), raising babies with two incomes topped priority list.  Maybe AH con!

Hmmm...and if Vila and Dnil ever adopted a kid together (Hey, it COULD happen) I would suggest they name him/her

Vi-nil-la.

-Ding

PS...By the way, its Ding-ee not Dinj-y as some at the AW con called me.    Or just Ding for short

When I played warbirds... I used to pronounce it udie.  Now, I will pronounce it udie instead.

However, I have always and will always pronounce it Vila.

Dingy,

Hopefully the kid called Vinilla doesn't start a rap career with an artist name  Vinilla Ice. The human race is not ready for another...

I always thought that my callsign was pretty straightforward: Wicked

Yet, some people call me VVicky.
