How about no V2s?
How about acting like your a V2 in a P38? type .slavo 10 and have 10 rockets, climb to 25k and dive straight down on a city and fire all 10 rockets at the last moment, then say, "My P38 is actually a ballistic missile!"

Id be in favor of the V1 because it was able to be shot down by aircraft.

The V2 however could NOT be intercepted and shot down. You could shoot them on the launchers or durring fueling but NOT after they had lifted off and gotten up to speed. It would also be more than 4,000 lbs of explosives in one bomb and i've heard that HTC wont go over 4k lbs.

yeah but i think both versions would work
the v1 and v2
v1 for short range small targets and the v2 for longer ranged targets and bigger targets

Im sorry to burst your bubble man, but Adding the V2 has to rank up there on my list of dumbest moves HTC could make, right after adding submarines and planes that never saw action in the war.

The V1 could be a huge cost, capitol or uncapturable airfield deployed weapon, allowing the ability to hit not so far off bases or cities (Or for that fact, nothing because V1's were inaccurate). They could be intercepted and shot down or disabled via bombing runs on its launchers or by destroying the ammo factory.

The V2 however has no business in the game. It exceeds the maximum explosive payload limit, it could NOT be shot down due to its supersonic speeds after launch and speed windup. It would be pointless given the size of the maps and the semi ease of which one could decimate a map via V2's. The model above is a nice try to make a V2, however the missiles themselves to my know how were never painted in such a way. Adding in the V2 would make no sense and would potentially drive off players and customers.

No I am not an employe of HTC I am just a paying customer like you
who likes to dabble in 3D object creation and graphics.

Relorian

The image above is a V2 rocket I am currently working on not as
a launched rocket but I had a thought of creating a V2 Rocket
Factory as a strat object and true about the camo paint scheme
I had a cammo texture I just thru on for the render, I have not found any
pictures of V2's in that color but more in a black and white checker
pattern or a yellow and black checker.

I agree a working V2 would probably not add anything to the game
and probablly isn't very high on the HTC creation list.

V2's could be used like the 163, only available around HQ's with a range of 3-4 sectors. make them uber perked from bomber perks as there's not much to use bomber perks on.

also make it complicated to use so its not just point and click like the guns on the cruiser and only able to fire once every 5 mins or so.

the V2 had a 1 ton warhead so its under the 4000lb weight limit

Why not just add the V3 while you are at it?
