Since that might help others in the "My connection sucks!"

department.
I'm runing a Fujitsu Laptop Centrino 1.8GH, 2 Gig RAM, X600 vid card.
I'm using COMCAST cable from Salt Lake City. My variance was spiking at -1 every 30 secs or so rending the game unplayable. Reading Skuzzy's thread, he claimed that variance issues are CPU issues.
So I looked at my CPU loading while playing, having AH only runing as a process, the loading was 88% spiking to 99% every 30 secs or so. Althrough my frame rate was already at 60, I tried to lower the graphic settings to AH minimums but to no avail. My frame rate was still around 60 FR, my CPU loading still spiking, and my connection miserable.
I noticed that when I first turn on the laptop, and the game right away, the variance is a solid flat line, but within 5 minutes, the spikes starts.
Suspecting a heating issue, I
removed the back cover of my laptop, and had it seat on a cooling mat.
My connection is now solid to a flat line variance with some minor ondulations. AH is playable.

... My connection problem was actually a cooling problem.
