sound problem

i'm using a custom sound pack. when i change some of the sounds, like "check6" to a different sound (same name though), it doesn't work. both of the files are wav files. they both play in windows media. any ideas?

audio sample size 16bit
channels 1(mono)
audio sample rate = no more than 22khz
audio format pcm

these are the required properties
for file to work
lemme know if ya need more help

You can even use Windows Sound Recorder to do it money. Go to File->Properties to change it.
