Looking for a squad
« on: September 24, 2007, 09:21:56 AM »
Hi all.

I'm kinda bored with flying lone wolf, and am looking for a squad.

I like fighter sweeps and furballs much more than base taking, but will go on bombing runs, or base taking missions if the squad mission is well organized.

I prefer when the squad members all fly the same aircraft from the same airfield in formation towards a target with wingman assignments.

I'll fly any aircraft,  except spits, and la7's.

I fly knights.

I play for fun not score.

I'd PM WMLute in the III/JG26.   He's a good guy and runs a very respectable squad.

I was getting my father an autograph to surprise him with, when my parents get back from Disney World.

I'll be there this week.   I've been very busy.

I wouldn't mind joining a squad myself. I fly under the name "Navy061".

As I'm actually in the navy, teamwork is something that comes naturally and is stressed to our new people (I'm a radar instructor)

For in game play, I'm currently in the prosess of purchasing a headset and a set of peddals atm. I normally fly the F6F and Seafire, and am also partial to the TBM and B-26. As for skills, I need to get into the TA soon for some pointers. At least I can get 1 or 2 kills every other sortie atm. I just need to learn how to get people of my six. I'm flying with the Rooks atm.

As for when I'm on, usually on weekends and after 8pm PST. (Family comes first of course.)

Sorry for the double post, but out of curiousity, what are some of the active squads? There's a lot of dead links for the squads listed.

All I want to do is have fun and contribute to a team.

My squad is recruiting also.  We have 15 guys and do more furballing than anything.  We are Knights and on vox 149.
