Q = Disconnect?
« on: September 03, 2007, 02:33:00 PM »
This has only happened twice to me but i'm startin to wonder. Does anyone else get kicked when trying to put flaps down? I was in the TA in a spit 16 taking off and I went to put flaps down for a quicker take off. When I pressed Q the screen went white and I got kicked. This hasn't happened everytime I went to put flaps down but it has happened.

Last night I was kicked while trying to land, just after hitting "q" for a notch of flaps.  Could be coincidence.

more than likely a bug in the sound pack. if you are using a custom pack, try replacing the sound file with one from the original pack.

Awhile back I was having the same problem when I put the gear down on a pony. I was told that it probably had something to do with my sound files(dont' ask me why cause i don't know much about computers).

Anyway, I deleted/reinstalled sound files and everything worked great from then on.:aok

Just a suggestion......

I had the same problem while lowering flaps a couple of months ago. I replaced the custom flap sounds with originals as NOT stated & viola, problem solved.

For the record, all my sounds are default.

Could still be a coincidence . . .

well, where you guys all using the same soundpack? maybe we should identify the error riddiin sound, other might be wondering the same thing. I had issues with the lanc engine sounds from mitsu soundpack, but only in F3 mode.
