I hate Kris Kristofferson, but that is a great song. If you listen to his version and JC's, Cash's has so much more feeling and intensity.

When I was a kid I had an old JC 8-track of a live performance. It had a lot of railroad and trucking songs. I literally wore it out listening to it.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

They said Kris couldn't do this song cuz he was afeared... Johnny went out and did the whole thing.  Kris was a fool...a wannabee.

Just my opinion.
