Hi,

pls check the level of fuel, when :

1. Take up with full load of fuel + 2 drop tanks
2. Take out one of drop, after take up

The level of fuel (EXT) is the same like on the begining.

It is normal?

The gauge always shows the amount of fuel in the specific tank which is in use at that time.
The moment you drop one of your external tanks, the plane automatically switches from EXT tank #1 to EXT tank#2, thus no apparent change in the fuel gauge display.

When sitting on runway, switch your fuel to manually selection, toggle through tanks until you are back at EXT (now in yellow). Drop one tank now, and you will see the needle dropping to E. Toggle now to next EXT and you will see 100% again.

Also isnt there a second neddles on the fule, that shows "total fule" left in the plane and dt's? Or some do, or something.

Basicly, as long as that engine is on, your useing fule, you drop one dt, it still shows the same amount, but your "total" fule load has droped.
just remember to change your tanks, otherwise you could run out of fule mid combat, and be like "wtf!?"
Always remember this, as i have lost a few squaddies to such accidents "i got no fule on 75%!?"

"oooh, that thing again"

And by the time you change over, and restart your engine, you may be a sitting duck without alt  or speed .ect.
Also if you have a plane with wing tanks, use those first/second as it will speed up your roll rate a wee bit*
"but aparently not before you use your aft fule as it increases the moss's stability...or.... something."
