The Ju 390 is really cool but only prototypes were built. Those would be sweet too.


the focke wolf fw 200 condor was not only a long range bomber
i do agree that it would be a great addition to the AHII family
it was also used for reconnaissance, troop and transport planes.
i personally would like to have one as a substitute for the c-47a which has no guns... personally i'd like a plane that can carry troops and make the enemy think twice before engaging.

There were three versions - the Fw 200A, B, and C. The Model A was a purely civilian plane used by Lufthansa, DDL in Denmark, and Syndicato Condor in Brazil. The Fw 200B and Fw 200C models were used as long-range bombers, reconnaissance, troop and transport planes.

I stilll think we need both the HE111 (7300 produced) and HE177 (1184 produced).

Definately the he-111, but as far as a "heavy" I would say the he-177 since engine reliability would not be a problem in the mechanically perfect world of AHII. (the DB.610 engines basically were two DB.605 mounted inline in an under wing nacelle on each wing.  This arrangement was used so that the plane could adhere to an asenine policy that heavy bombers must also be able to dive bomb as well as level bomb. Due to the proximity of the fuel and oil lines to the hot exhaust manifolding engine fires were all too common.)

I actually think the He177 is a bad idea because it would not represent the historical aircraft at all.  The Avro Manchester would have the same issue.

The Ju188A-1 or Do217 are the best things the Germans had in regards to bombers.
