Bombing in the B-25H

Whats the secret for bombing in the H? You dont have a bombview and the airplanes hates the verticle so I cant seem to line up targets as I would dive bombing a Jabo. The 25 is more of a glide bomber so how do you get the 500lb's on target? Thank you.

Low-angle dives with throttle all the way back. Depending on your starting altitude and airspeed, the INSTANT your target passes out of view under your nose pickle off your eggs. Just careful on the pull-out.

I generally start around 5000ft above the target and enter my attack run from maybe a mile or two out.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

What saxman said.

Try flying it in the TA, you'll have the bomb impact point crosshair showing you the way. Once you get the basic angles figured out then go to offline, or one of the mains for practice.

I never use more than 1 bomb...and I usually hit my target...in the A20 I dive straight down and drop (my wing) bomb.

In the H I would come in at a dive angle (/) and release 1 bomb.

Depends on what you're hitting, IMO. If I'm looking to drop a hangar, I'll pickle off all three 1000lb bombs because it takes all three to knock it down. With 500lb-ers against towns you can probably do short salvos on a time release.

Sorry for not getting back to this thread sooner fellas. I never got back into the 25 again. I'll practice this bombing tactic whenever I can pull myself out of the new Marauders for my short range runs. Tho that probably wont be anytime soon.;)

                       Thanks for the advice.

Well Ive been practicing and I still cant hit anything. Normally Im hitting short. If you come in at to high an angle the airplane pulls you over the target.
