Takeoff and raise your gear, circle and try to land, the minute you drop your gear both drones go boom!

I only tried it with the 25 and 26, the B-17 checked out OK. Oh, I was testing a tile for a custom airfield and ditching since I haven't installed a runway yet. The B-17 had no problems.

maby thats more of a realism.

If you take off, and then try to land, some planes could be considerd "too heavy" thus they would crash on landing :huh

Dunno, but when a modern day plane takes off, unless its a huge emergency, they burn fule to be lighter when landing.

:edit: err not plane, jet.

A jet is a plane. At least last time I looked at one it was. :)

And if as you put it, it's a huge emergency they dump the fuel.  Long haul aircraft like the 747, 767 and 777, DC 10, and Lockheed Tristar are equipped with fuel dump nozzels. Fuel dumping is limited to emergencies where there is no time to burn fuel by circling and if no permission can be given to land with excess weight.

Aircraft like the A320, 737, and 757 don't have that option because the difference between the maximum permitted take-off and landing weight is so small that they can land with excess weight in all emergencies.

Most of the people you meet in life are like slinkies. Pretty much useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Wonder if it has to do with being in proper glide slope, as drones always swoop down and back up
