Hey I would like to duel someone. Anyone care to.

Please let me know. I fly spits though. Not very good in to many others, and do not fly german planes. Probable from the time I was in german plane squad, and just feel icky in them now. I have washed the o-o from my tag along time ago.

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Just for the record and for all that do not understand how this stuff works:

Once players reach a certain level of knowlege about acm's, it comes down who's on for that day and who's not for the most part.  I hear that player x totally owned player y, yet plaer y owns me and I totally own plaer x, or that one day I totally own batfinkV then the next day Batfinkv totally owns me.  Dedalos will slap me one day then not even get guns on me the next day.  THis is how it works for the majority of duelers that I have fought over the years.  Then you have one guy that has your number and he owns you, then you correct your merge, and never again does he ever beat you, and vice versa.  Still, you have a few that are pretty solid and you have to fly perfect to beat them whenever you duel them.  


So, for the record......SkyRock<----wins on days that he's flying well, and looses on days that he's not.  Against the upper echelon fighters, that's how it goes.  With mediocre or slightly above average stiks, you might be able to make a mistake and still be able to beat them, but this is not the case when you duel the good ones.  Then we have certain pilots that are Uber in their rides, such as a k-4 pilot, but that doesn't mean that he's uber in other rides.  You have some pilots that are very very good in all the planes and others that do much better in spits.  You have the guys that are going to chop throttle and tangle right off the start, and others who will milk their E like it was a golden cow.  All in all, I would say from my experiences, there is no one best stik.  I have heard that so and so was the best, but from my experiences, it is kind of like that saying about the NFL, "On any given sunday".

As far as I can remember, the only time I've been in the DA was with Skyrock and we fought in 38Gs.

Other then that i don't think I've ever gone to the DA

Excellent synopsis.

I'd only add that sometimes it just comes down to luck.   When two pilots are close in skill level, it's a game of inches - usually, the fight is ever so slightly won on the merge, then it takes about 5 minutes for those few extra inches to come into play for the fatal volley (usually right down on the deck in the trees).

It's funny when you know you lost a merge - even by a few feet - and you get this terrible feeling of dread - you know what the result will be, but you drag it out anyways - hoping for a mistake that will rarely happen. :aok

Dan completely ownt me badly, and I was miffed(not to take away from dan, now, he was swinging that G around like a madman,but something seemed different).  I mean I get ownt often while drinking but something was different.  So I'm dueling squaddies the next day and everyone was slaughtering me, I was like WTF??  I couldn't get my nose up in the K-4's we were fighting, so I concluded my stik was FUBAR.  So two days later, Ren comes over to the house(he lives like 20min away), and he was showing me some settings when we noticed I had stall limiter checked on. LMAO, I still don't know how it got checked on but I had to re-calibrate all the axis' as well.  After that, the stik worked like it always did.  
Just goes to show you, even when your doing everything right, the gods can be against you!:aok

Great fights by the way, Dan, and I would like to duel some more in 38G's again.  Just let me know when you have some time, bro.

wow gone for a day and u guys are still at it.

Ink I dont think a corsair would purposly try to Ho a LA, I am smart enuf not to even attempt something that suicidal. If u claim I hoed u then I must have been going to fast to turn out of the way in time.

From what I can recall I havent Hoed a LA and won since like Never. I also have never Purposly pointed my Nose into anyone since I learned its simply better to avoid the HO. I never fire guns strait on unless the opponent simply gives me no other choice, and by this I mean he keeps turning into me head on, this ususally does happen with Niks and Las and Spits when we end up in scissors.

If that happend then it was not a intentional HO. I dont really remember the instance u are refering to, but i am sure if i sent u a private msg it was probly to try to inform u that a HO was not the best course of action.

However if we did go head on I am most certainly sure u fired your LAs 20s probly causing me to fire my 50s. Honestly if i did manage to shoot u down and not take any damage, then yeah i probly jumped up with Glee for turning the tables on the typical LA hoer, and about the worst PM I would have sent u would have been a friendly, ouch that must of hurt;).

From what I can recall we have never had a problem in the DA so I really cant see why u are on here trying to join the masses in talking about me, when u dont know what started the conversation. But that being said, this is not talking a back to anyone, simply discussing the event u are talking about that i cannot remember.
