Rokit, no offense man, but drop all the LTAR resignation stuff. To a non ltar, it doesn't make a great deal of sense, and contains more detail than your mention of his deployment. Last night when I read this, I thought it was just an announcement that he was quitting your squad.
If the guy's really serving overseas, tell him to watch his bellybutton and come home safe. I personally hate the war, and am not a big fan of those who started this war, but I still hold a fundamental respect for those willing to fight and die for their country, sense of duty, or ideals. I hate to see such people lost.
