Storch, the translation is correct, but the literal, original meaning is lost in Italian, I think we could translate it with a "I beat the crap out of you" or something like that. :)

it is usually understood.
meaning whatever you want it to mean.
for some. it can be fighting words.
for others, a joke to be laughed at.

if the girl in the pic was to say that to me.  my reply would be "yes and I'll give you all you want and more." meaning something entirely different. :D
ugly looking girl, I might reply "yes and you ain't getting none."

if an enemy was to say that to me. my reply would be action, meaning I'd beat it (the crap) out of him.

if a friend was to say that to me. my reply might be. " yeah so"
for an old, old friend, my reply might be "so are you" then go get beers to argue about who was more full of it, for the heck of it.:p

how is this, for a confusing answer?  :D :p
