Typically the scoring is set to balance an event.  It's not always going to match what someone might think is logical, but there is generally a reason.

Gaidin reviewed his film and it looks like on the first pass the train was cut in half and no one noticed the engine pulled the cars still attached, so no one noticed the cars left behind so the score is right, sorry for the confusion.

So the lesson here is kill the engine first to get stationary targets ;)

Yeah I reviewed the film and I was the first one to fire on the target.  I was attempting to hit the guns so my guys where not flying into a hail of bullets.  I killed the gun that first pass and the one right behind me broke the train in half.  The engine kept going and we went after the moving part.
