I like the late war outlined codes too.  Nose color looks right as well.

From Dan's photos, the nose paint looks like Medium Green.  Try 83,100,90 for the RGB values and see how it turns out.  You can also try to reduce the opacity/contrast a little to mute the "new" or "bright" look of it.

I think the paint will always be shiny, since the material file used to make the BMF shiny will affect the nose paint in a similar fashion.

Think I need to quit while I'm here. I think it looks pretty good and I'm going to submit it once the website I've been referencing comes back up. I don't have an actual photo of this ship, but I do have some pics of ships close to it. I used some other reference from littlefriends.co.uk for the tail number and the lack of nose art. Hope you guys like it.
