Sorry but it sounds like preventing Soviet delegation from bringing flowers to Holocaust memorial.

The worst thing about it is that the poor guy tried to be polite, and some morons responsible for his visit probably have fun helping anti-American propaganda.

Just imagine news headlines: "Iranian President refused from bringing flowers to Ground Zero"....

"Iranian President refused from bringing flowers to Ground Zero"....

Almost like Putin bringing flowers to a Kursk ceremony?

Would Pravda report that Boroda?

Poor guy... he's sooo frikken polite... and I would not doubt Boroda that you know so much about propaganda and less of America.

Again: Pravda now is nothing more then a moronic mustard-plaster leaflet made by marginals. And Pravda.ru is an internet yellow tabloid that has an English version.

Err... sorry on the apostrophe.

Central Pennsylvania. Yes, Im American. I dont see the point of not letting him come into the country. It would seem he's trying to extend peace, and it would seem that the United States would rather just have war.

Ehm, the free country banning a foreign pres. looking into a memorial of stupid extremism.
There is an opening of less tension there, Why not?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Uh we're not keeping him from entering the country, only ground zero. He is going to NYC to speek to the UN, and asked permission to enter the WTC site.

I agree with the decision not to let him enter ground zero, he is a tool. With all the rhetoric that he spews it wouldn't be out of the question to deny him entry into this country. And yes the world would be a better place without this man.

Motherland is correct he is not Arab he is Persian. Iranians don't consider themselves Arab, and Arabs don't consider Iranians Arab.

Shots rang out from all over New York City in celebration of the Iranian Presidents visit.

NYPD adminisitered a 21 gun sulute.

  1 Injury reported.

Reports will be updated on the Iranian Presidents medical progress.

Look you Iranian POS if your're not welcomed hereotherwise if you push the visit then wear some dam great body armour.

Like Regan would visit the US Embassy in Tehran in '83?.

Bring this Monkey Man on... let him die in a hail of bullets.  He's asking for the Secret Service to supply his Security? At whos expense?

  BURN HIS ARSE NOW!

  It would save lives later.

Now that is sad. Not that he is going to speak at Columbia University, but that they would want him too.
