Why are the all V-Bases in FSO labled as Airbases?

I had a stricken bird (Niki with half a wing missing) and was trying to nurse her to a field to land. However, every field down the coast line was a V-Base.

It was hard enough keeping her aloft and flying the 100 miles to get to a friendly base that was not under attack. Only to find every base Labeled "A" was really a "V".

Low on fuel and running out of time I tried turning around to put her down the friendly V-base and she rolled over on me and I crashed. So I ask why are they mislabled?

You should have read the orders. They stated what the only two air bases were and that the rest are Vehicles.

Smack your CO for not ensuring his troops knowing that... not the CM

It's an issue with the clipboard map on that terrain. Its been a known issue and we've worked around it in the past.

I don't believe I was "smacking" anyone. I merely asked a question. I apologize for any hostility that may have somehow been construed by my original inquiry.

I guess there is an issue there somewhere... oh well.

Its a matter of priority and getting it on both the terrain teams plate and then onto Skuzzy's to do the actual build for use on HTC's server.
