Actually, I still prefer to scrub floors that way over a mop anyday. Gets them much cleaner. My knees don't like it very well though.
Since AF basic training I've never scrubbed on my knees. I take my turn mopping floors at home with a wooden handled mop but I think my wife feels like she's slacking unless she's scrubbing with a brush. Must be genetic.
