They will probably rule the EW and MW arenas (score-wise) and feel real good about themselves.  

It's sad to listen to them actually justify what they do in the unopposed arenas.

Here's one: "Look at my gv score, I have over 800 gv kills...now try and tell me there was no opposition!"  

I like this one the best: "You ever play chess?  Well, see, you get a better score not just by killing other guys but by inflicting damage on strat targets too."  

These guys crack me up....but it is their $15.

I didn't mean to bump this thread but the answer to this question just dawned on me this morning.

To be a score-potato, you're already "forced" to do things.  You have to do PT missions, get base captures, kills and damage in several catagories, etc., etc.

This doesn't force anyone to do anything unless they want a top score/rank, in which case they have to fulfill the requirements to do so just as they do now (although they would have to do it in all three arena types).

LOL .. just came from LW orange. Had only a few players on, and guess what... About 10 rooks were hitting field after field in true EW/MW fashion and the same squads as usual too Nothing much changes eh?

Would be sweet if we got only one LW arena, or that one was closed when fewer than say 300 players were on

I was there too, and I had to check again if I really was not in EW:

12 rooks - 2 knight - 1 bish

And like you said, the usual suspects. SOAR "We only fly bish!" guys hopping on the rook bandwagon to get their precious captures...

well at least we can count on squads like the soars to lead the way in exploiting any opportunity to have a low a score at the expense of actually having skill.

we all need to be good at something, I suppose becoming a world class sap is a worthwhile goal too.

wtg soars you guys are the best at gaming the game.

I really do hate to say anything bad because I've actually flown with/worked with the SOARs on a few occasions when there was actual combat to be had in EW.

Their nice guys and all but one night I was in EW grabbing a few freebie base captures (there were 0 Knights, 0 Rooks and a handful of Bish... not something I'm particularily proud of) to keep up with the Joneses (SOARs) to maintain my scores and every time a base was captured they all give a big WTG over country channel.

I found the big congratulations over capturing totally undefended fields to be a bit humerous.

And BTW, I ended last camp with 4 goon captures and 6 vehicle captures and there were still 209 and 253 people respectively with more than me!  I guess quite a few people were milking EW/MW for captures.

Some of us acutually manages to capture bases in the most populated LW arenas. Thats kinda how the bases and maps change hands so often All it takes is a lack of social life and/or family that takes care of that part

Actually it's only that attitude that cracks me up. Anybody can milk all day long, it's their 15$, not my bussiness, and even worse: I do it myself at times.

But to really believe that capturing undefended bases is some sort of achivement thats worth a whole lot of WTG's and a source of squad pride...
