I specifically told you that was a mistake(Fes was cleaning house of some old sqdies that were no longer with us) and I told you to talk to Fes, coming on here and painting it another color is quite weak.  Anyway, lets get back to the topic at hand.

And I will say it again... There have 'always' been peps that felt the desire to shout their skill.. I'm not certain where we derive these nostalgic memories of this game with the belief that once all was perfect and pure..

In the old Airwarrior days, people were a lot more mean and cynical than they are today... in fact, many of the insulting vernacular you hear today (ie "dweeb") comes from AW  - also, there was nowhere near as much a sense of "fair play" as you have today - vulching was looked at as a good thing, and "picking" was an unknown word.   In fact, just about the only thing that was frowned upon was HOing - but, that was only because old AW had no collision detection.

Finally, getting "Hate" was considered the greatest goal of all.

So yeah, anyone who thinks the "old roots" of this game were full of "fair play" and "sportsmanship" is sorely mistaken.

For the record, I far prefer today's "Knights of the Air" attitude, but I also don't knock guys like Skyrock, because his personality is the old tradition of the game.   :D

Besides - often times, guys like him rudely push a message that has hidden good (ie: negative motivation to better yourself and stop being such a know-it-all dweeb)

'LMAO! Prove your statement, or did you forget you posted it?  You would get smacked no matter how long you practiced up for it. You were a lousy little twit back then, and the biggest leg humper in the game, yet you want to talk smack like you weren't. You were scared to duel me back in the day because you wouldn't have been able to handle defeat. Now, your just a lousy little twit visiting the boards.

I back up my talk, the same can't be said about you.

PS Get off my ankle, you look like a dork down there!'

If you also consider Warbirds as "old roots" of this game I'm sorry but I would have to disagree with you there.

I know these gents and all of them have come a long way in the past months. All but Bosco123 participated in a Trainer's clinic a week ago Thursday. I had a chance to see their improvement. Given a few more months, these guys will be approaching top tier.

guys! Keep plugging away. It's paying off.
