windows SP1 question
« on: October 12, 2007, 09:57:34 PM »
I have built my new machine and have put windows XP home on it.  The disc I have says 2002, and I dont think that I have service pack 1 installed.
I have been looking for it all night on microsoft and I found that it was no longer available for download.  Would it still be possible to get SP1? Or do I have to up grade from vista?

Bah nvm, I found SP1a to be my answer.

SP2 includes SP1. Every new Windows service pack includes all previous service packs, if any,  for a particular Windows os version. If you're one of those folks that has decided they don't want sp2, then googling sp1 for a possible d/l site is all I can recommend.
