Can't watch it.  It requires a Flash player and ActiveX to be enabled.

Speaking of ActiveX, I'm surprised to see it used on certain home page. :noid

Wasn't my idea and you can disable the auto-stream in Windows Media player.  I have it disabled on my systems.

Not worth the potential of getting something nasty on my local area network Rosco.  I really enjoy not having to run all that gawd awful software on my computer such as anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-Internet, blah, blah, and blah.

Can I disable activex and are there alternatives?

I took a class last semester that mentioned ActiveX briefly, Not my vocation but it was an Overview IT auditing class. I guess I should have studied that in more detail. Now I will. I passed though.

In IE, go to Tools, then Internet Options. Click on the Security tab, then "Custom Level". I think all of the ActiveX stuff can be turned off there.

Short version of why I don't use ActiveX- Skuzzy says it's evil, and apparently a popular way to wind up with all sorts of spyware, viruses, malware, etc.

Make sure you turn off java too then, and flash, oh and don't read PDF files, or look at images (GIFs or JPGs).

Hehe,  Just use LYNX under Linux and be done with it.  :D

Oh, and stop using Adobe Acrobat, for crying out loud.  Foxit is much smaller, faster and is not prone to phoning home like Acrobat does. :)

that video was hilarious, but just before it ended my system lock me out the boged down and crashed. I think that it is all a plan by Gates to make you mad. RED HAT is the only way to go for me at the moment.  open code for all.

Skuzzy, Absolutely right on about Adobe!  Plus it's a resource hog.  Dumped it long ago...and Foxit just recently updated itself for the better on a number of fronts.  :aok   http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php
