I have  usb microphone headset.  I have tested it in microsoft and using the .radio 5 username in ah.  But that is the only place that it works.  Am getting no voice in the actual game, unless on .radio 5 and it is only replay of my voice

Can no one hear you at all? or does it sound like you're blowing in the mic?

I've had this happen a few times. Never found out why it happens but it usually fixes itself for me.

My guess is that you have tuned radio 5 to yourself and left it there.

Change radio 5 using the mini menu to "mission" or "squad".

If you are flying with people that are all on the same channel then tune radio 5 to that channel and use T to key the mic. You will transmit to all on that channel.

F12 is another mic key. It doesn't use a selected channel, it just transmits to all within icon range. When you are in a local fight and wish to transmit to others in your area use F12.

Also. The Tower and outside the tower are seperate 'rooms'. If you are in the Tower you can only use F12 to chat with those also in that tower. The opposite is also true.

Blooz nailed it pretty much. The Training Arena (TA) also has a bug that sometimes kills "range" vox after you've been on for a while and also only allows say 3-4 seconds of transmission time. You key and hold the mic (F12) talk for 3 seconds, then rekey and finish your chat. If you keep talking after the 3-4 seconds then only your mic is hearing it and no one else.  Been that way for years and only seems to happen in the TA.

Hope this helps.
