Maybe not exactly on topic, but pretty darn hilarious. Me and Morph joined up on a mishun once. Morph posing as levs 12 year old nephew and I was his 11 year old buddy. They let us drive the goons. So we take off....
The moment we leave the ground, in our best squeeker voices we start asking questions. How do I open the door? Where are we going? How high are we? It was during this time that I noticed a "little green poop" escape morphs goon. Shortly after, another poop. That's when I realized morph was slowly letting out troops before we reached the target. How no one else saw this is beyond me? After reflecting on this for a few minutes suddenly a shrill voice breaks in saying, "My wings fell off." It was greeted by silence and then,"What?" came the response from our group leader. Once again morphs' nasaly voices calls out, "My wings fell off!"
Later when I looked at the film morphs wings did in fact "fall off". Actually, morph went ahead and ripped them off, but either way it was comedy gold. The chatter that created kept me laughing all the way to the target. And the best part of this was morph was not gone, of no. He was still on mission channel crying about his wings falling off.
As we move ahead in our little tale I found myself over the target at about 15k... in a goon. I hear the chaos on the radio as 1 guy gallantly falls to ack whilst killing a toolshed. After awhile I hear what I've been waiting for. "SuperDud, towns down, bring the goon in!"
This was it! My moment to shine!!! So I come on the radio and in the squeekiest voice a bass can make ask, "Where's the town at?" Over the radio I hear, "RIGHT BELOW YOU JUST GO DOWN!!!" So I then asked, "Should I drop the troops?" followed by, "Why are you yelling at me? I'm sorry." The response I recieved was a much milder, "I'm sorry for yelling, we just need this base. Yes do straight down and drop the troops."
Now this I feel is open to interpritation. He told me to go straight down and drop troops. So, I went... straight down... and dropped troops. I was at about 14.5k and 20degrees or so off from 90 degrees when I released the 1st troop. Like a majestic eagle I dove down apon my prey!
By the time I had lawndarted without wings myself I had realeased 8 troops and had acheived a speed of right around 350. Not bad for a goon if you ask me.
Needless to say the base wasn't captured, but the fun wasn't over yet. The organizer was getting another run together. The only thing stopping him from launching it was 2 squeeky voiced teens who he was trying to talk into going to bed. After morph and myself kept telling him how we wanted to go another round, the organizer finally "convinced" us it was late and we should go to bed.
Thus ended our grand adventure. In the life of a BK however, it was just another day.
