Hello,

Is there anyway to be accepted after the registration is over, if so I'd like to be considered.

Beta Frame is going to show alot.

As far as the Axis go, there are some who have been No Shows from day one.  There are those who have been active but not available for Beta or some practices that are going to show for the main event.  But after the Beta, the Axis are most likely going to purge their roster of those who have not bothered to post, respond to email or show up at all for anything.

At some point, there has to be a line drawn and make room for people actually interested in the event instead of just taking up a registration slot.

After the Beta Weekend, I'd expect to see slots on both sides becoming available.

The other aspect of "no-shows" is the timing of these frames. I mistakenly thought that the Oct frames were on Sundays. They are not. They are on Saturdays. My mistake. For some of us (or more) Saturdays at 3pm EST = 12 noon PST or sooner for those that live closer to the International Date Line. This can and will cause conflicts of interest because of the date and time. I for one have a 50/50 chance of making all of them in Oct versus 100% of them if they were held on Sundays instead. I realize that the grand majority can make this time frame, but for those that cannot or are still up in the air if they can, will make the difference for either side when crunch time arrives. A few in my squad have mentioned the pending difficulties of doing the Saturday 3pm EST scenarios. Apparently I am not the only one in my squad that are not too sure. I would imagine that other squads will have a few with the same timing problems. Add that all together and you're gonna have a significant amount of no-shows.

The folks that designed the scenario and frames have done an outstanding job for an historical event, however, did they research or at least do a consensus of those of us in the "real" world? October is a few days away and I wouldn't be surprised if the authors of the scenario can or will make a study a make changes. This is understandable because we are running out of time. I for one will try my best to make the frames in Oct, but Sats at 12 noon EST will make it very difficult. :(

The problem is that there are alot of people flying in this event who are not living in the United States.

As a specific example, the Finnish players are 7 hours ahead of the 3PM EST start time.  They will be finnishing up the frames at 1AM.

The Saturday 3PM EST start time is the best compromise for the US and European players to be able to attend this event together.

I think continually communicating with group leaders will be a great help to them in planning attendees. If someone can make only one frame I can imagine that every effort will be made to accommodate them. It's the one's that never say anything that plug up the works.

If you're really interested in getting a spot, show up for the frames. We'll have walkon slots available. Show up early, and be prepared to take some notes and get your ducks in a row. The events run several hours, so make sure you can be there for the duration.

I don't know that the leaders will go to great lengths to accomodate those who aren't going to attend the events, but registered or not, you can still participate.

We're half way through the event, registration has been set and changed up countless times by now.

Get with Bearkats for Axis or Fencer for Allies and if you want to be in the final 2 frames they will get you on their respective rosters and signed to their forums.

Walkon today and find them.
