Tough question to answer. We've had them run from 2+ hours to more than 5 or 6 hours, it really depends on a few things.
1) The numbers of people who attend, generally speaking Fridays numbers are lower than Saturdays and the time of day can effect that.
2) How the people attending fight during it. If they really hunt down the Wabbits, a Wabbit is a person who has won two rounds and if they win another the event is over, it can go one and one and one. If they don't do this it can be relatively short and only last 6 or 7 rounds.

The length of each round is roughly 20-30 minutes and this is another thing related to the number of people who attend the event.

Both KOTH winners and wabbits are invited to the year end Tournament Of Champions and receive a plaque.
This is the plaque Murdr won for the 2005 TOC win: 2005 plaque

You do not have to attend the complete event though. Anyone is invited to attend and if you want to you can fly only a few rounds.
You can even fly a round or two and leave and come back and fly a few more.
