I'm the Superintendent on a small course in Maine...been working on courses for 17 years. I need to get out of this Godforsaken frozen wasteland this winter and stay on a course! Anyone got a couch in a garage I could sleep on till I find a room? Will mow your lawn for the couch;-)

Is there really such a place as MooseSnout, Maine?

You need to go to Florida or Texas ;)

And, no it's not  true... people in Texas do not use pick-up trucks as golf carts. ;)

They use them for playing pick-up truck polo.

I like Texas golf courses better than Florida courses...

No alligator hazards...

The pond at the sixth hole has a “Beware of Alligator” sign.

I used to play in Florida and South Georgia when I first started the game. Seen a few gators on a few course.....it was always thier option to "Play Thru" as well. And I NEVER chased a ball when I saw em.

Yup... When I was playing in Florida... the gators had automatic play thru privs... and any ball of mine that landed within 200 feet of one got to keep the ball and I took a drop with no stroke and distance penalty.

Some of those suckers were monsters...

Biggest one I saw was at Cocoa Beach Country Club Nice 27-hole course, btw.

He had to have been 14 feet long... sunning himself next to a water hazard. In fact, I believe he was the biggest gator I saw all the time I was in Florida. He may still be there... sunning himself. lol

Tigress,

Aztec is just joking with ya, theres no Mooseballs Maine. What I find interesting is this..

Really?  And, who is Cars? Is that code for Lazs?

You can tell from my post count and registration date that I don't post much, I usually keep my opinions and politics to myself.  What in this thread would lead you to think I'm anything like Laz? Lets run it down and see how ya did.

Laz.... ex-Harley rider                                          cars.....ex-Harley rider

Laz... Has a Chevy powered Austin Healey,    cars...built a chev powered
                                                                        austin healey

Laz...likes big block chevys          cars...likes big block chevys

Laz... HATES the nanny state      cars... HATES the nanny state

Laz...likes guns                            cars...likes guns

(small difference here, Laz prefers wheel guns, I prefer my colt 1911. My wife prefers wheel guns tho, we have a mixed marriage :))

Most of the time when Laz posts, I agree with what he says. I'd probably say it differently but do enjoy watching him poke people with his stick.

The only real differences are that I keep my opinions to myself and I did time in Viet Nam.

All in all it was pretty darn accurate.  Are you Miss Cleo?

Hmmm... an East coast Laz?  I've been called worse.
