If you have Vista and Norton Security, the game atuo-updater will not work as Norton will block the game's ability to connect to the server and download and install the patches.
You will have to manually get the patches and install them yourself. This is not something we have any control over.
We make the patches available in each release notes page for each revision of the game. You just have tobe careful about which patch you are installing or you will corrupt your installation and have to download and install the entire game again.
If you provide the version of the game you have (upper left corner of the startup screen) I can list the patches you will need to install iun order to get current.
