Sits back with coffee to what for this to blow up in her face once again. headline should be:

 "Clinton extorts funds from immigrants"

http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na-donors19oct19,0,4231217.story?coll=la-home-center

In April, a single fundraiser in an area long known for its gritty urban poverty yielded a whopping $380,000. When Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) ran for president in 2004, he received $24,000 from Chinatown....

Clinton has enlisted the aid of Chinese neighborhood associations, especially those representing recent immigrants from Fujian province. The organizations, at least one of which is a descendant of Chinatown criminal enterprises that engaged in gambling and human trafficking, exert enormous influence over immigrants. The associations help them with everything from protection against crime to obtaining green cards....

Many of Clinton's Chinatown donors said they had contributed because leaders in neighborhood associations told them to. In some cases, donors said they felt pressure to give.

Dishwashers, waiters and others whose jobs and dilapidated home addresses seem to make them unpromising targets for political fundraisers are pouring $1,000 and $2,000 contributions into Clinton's campaign treasury. In April, a single fundraiser in an area long known for its gritty urban poverty yielded a whopping $380,000. When Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) ran for president in 2004, he received $24,000 from Chinatown.

Does anyone here actually believe that someone who makes 10 grand a year donates 1 grand to anything?  And that this isn't money coming directly from china?

Campaign financing is the reason our government has gone down the toilet.

Getting the recipients to change it is a lost cause, corruption rules.

Say I wonder if the K street project is still up and running.

It seems to me that there was a big push on campaign finance reform being pushed by the Dems more than the Repubs, but it sure looks like it's more out of control than ever.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
