mouse pointer die in flight
« on: October 21, 2007, 04:41:03 AM »
the mouse pointer dies after a short time of flight. The cursor wont move at all, its dead, but I still can trigger and use mouse-view normally.  The one way I found to get it back alive is to windows-key out of AH2, force quit thru task manager then re-launch the game. It will die again soon.

What could it be?

Note I have to run AH on 98/ME compatibility mode, is this relevant?

Hitting the H key freezes/unfreezes the mouse. Next time you notice the cursor freeze, try hitting H. That should fix your problem. You may want to unmap that function completely, so that you don't accidentally freeze your mouse.

Also, instead of going through the task manager to force close AH just press alt+f4. It instantly closes the program.
