Gunsmithing Schools?
« on: October 22, 2007, 03:31:00 PM »
Ive been considering getting a 'minor' degree / certification in something that interests me.

Aviation was one of my first choices but sadly my color blindness+issues with depth perception makes it an impossibility (well I could lie about the depth perception but it'd be irresponsible and stupid as hell... i'll just have to be happy mounting a remote camera on a model RA plane ;) ).

Gunsmithing is the other thing that i've been considering.

But searching on the internet its freaking impossible to find a trade school in central florida that teaches it (google searches = full of spam site results).

Anyone know a place where I could find links to schools that offer this degree?

I tried the NRA website but none of their linked schools is in Florida :( .

try finding a local gunsmith and asking them about the education... I'd bet there is an apprenticeship type schooling that can be done.
I don't know what to put here yet.

you may have to go the online courses route.

try using MSN.com, etc. search for more serious things.

google is best for ummm well not so serious stuff.
