(It's not a trivia question. I'm looking for the answer.)

I dont hear it all that close. Although the its similar in some ways, overall I dont hear Motley Crue. Plus the Crue's guitar and drum sound cool, and these other guys have the new style thats weak. Best part of the song was the bass.

Sorry, I don't know enough about which is which on the guitars.  Just was picking out that one piece that made me think of that other particular song.

Whatever it was (is), I liked it though.  :)

Like this one too, but I think it's a lot different than the other guitars.

A good portion of all the most popular music written is in the same key, same chord order, with just the tempo and beat tweaked a little.  From there, a little bit less percentage starts to change the chords...

Practically, all popular music is the same thing.  I don't necessarily mean current popular music.  I mean music from all ages, there's just something that resonates in the brain about that one particular format.

the sticatto guitar and vocal rhythms in the chorus of Paralyzer reminds me alot of this other recent song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_9GR9kdZ3o

they both sound eerily similar to me.

in fact listen to the beginning of Paralyzer, then starting at 1:12 in "Take me out"

the surprising part is franz ferdinand came out in 2004, them vs you vs me 2007.
