Contrails at high altitudes n lower Polygons

I thought about contrails at high altitudes like they had in WW2:



And also, i thought it might be an idea to create lower Polygon levels on planes u dont fly. It is a pain in rear when you get low framerates during huge furballs.

As for the contrails, they might be frame eating but there might be something to solve that.

So lower poly count on ac but increase the background count ehh?
