You might need to map and calibrate your mouse.  Try the support then help links above.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Try this:

But a joystick is very much superior in every way. Even a cheap $20 one will do.

I'd asume most laptops or 'loptops' have a power setting to save the battery.
Change this to full performance or a non Energy Star setting.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

RAABC I've used a laptop for years with AH. You'll optimize the game by:

1. Attaching a standard keyboard/mouse.

2. Attaching a stand alone monitor...a 19" flat panel works for me but the 22" are pretty cheap these days.

3. Buy a joystick. Saitek makes a number of inexpensive twist handle sticks. Spend the extra few $$ for a replacement warranty...Saitek sticks tend to go by the wayside in time.

4. Always run your laptop on AC power to save battery life.

5. Optional but advised - buy a laptop cooling pad. You'll reduce the internal heat load and most of the pads come with powered USB ports.

I would recommend a Saitek ST290Pro stick...they're at wal mart for $20.
