I voted for the Huckster twice for governor.
He came to our small rural school one day and addressed the collective student body in the auditorium. Huck bragged on the facility and stated that it was obvious that our local patrons and parents took great pride in their school system and were obviously dedicated to providing the best educational opportunity possible for their children.
Two years later he signed legislation closing us down. Small districts are "inefficient", don't ya know. Besides, he needed a legacy in order to cite when he ran for president. Just wait, he'll trot out his educational "legacy" during one of the debates, or on Larry King Live, or Saturday Night Live, or for Jay Leno.
But I won't vote for him again. Ever.
