Have the noobs start off in the training arena to learn to fly and get all the controls down patt.. in first 2 weeks of free trial....

When they start to pay to play then they can fly in early war ...

Then as their points and their experience follows they can move up to mid war...

Then when they get more points they can progress to Main arenas ...

and if a person wants to fly in an earlier arena then they are to "pay to play" in that arena with perkies.. the lower they go the more they pay...

?????   Just an Idea.... your thoughts????

By making new players only allowed in the TA for their two week trial, I am thinking that they won't get that feeling of action, camaraderie, and overall bad bellybutton affect (yes I know some don't like the play style of the MA's, but really you can find all different styles of play).  Without finding this out within their first two weeks, I think newer players won't be drawn to the game, and will perhaps leave.

Same with the idea of starting in early war.  They probably won't like the plane choices, the few amounts of people, and the "harder" flying characteristics of the plane choices, unless they somehow become official vets after their two weeks in the TA (assuming they stay after that).

But thats just my 0.02 cents, take it as you want.

I agree with Donkey on this one..

I would have quit the game during the two weeks if all I could do was fly in the TA...

I went in cold and basically extremely stunk the place up with my skills or lack thereof..

The good thing is I learned and now only stink the place up with my skills:D

When I was a newb, I burned up my brother's perk points on Tempests. Now I burn other perk planes down.

My question is Why?

Why force a newb to work his way up? Why force others to "pay" to go back to the early war arena? What would this accomplish?

Believe it or not, as a newb, there is no better way to learn to play this game than going against people that are better than you. At least in the LW arenas a newb can fly a LW monster that can give him/her and edge over some of the not so uber plane sets.

Remember have fun !!! And as a bonus, everytime you get shot down, they have another plane waiting in the hanger for you  :D

Remember they pay just like you and me.  Same price as everyone else. And if you do that suggestion. Then game is slowly going to fade away.

Lets be more kinder and gentle. Bull! It's a dog eat dog world.
Let them learn from there mistakes. I had to learn the tough way. I would ask fellow pilots on some information. And if I wanted more information. I would also learn to look up information on fighting, bombing & etc on AH II and other sites.
