Need Help, Film Viewer
« on: November 02, 2007, 12:46:47 PM »
Anybody here having problems with the Film Viewer. My film FPS is very erratic, stuttering, and most films are flashing day/night. I am using patch 3.

Films shot in duel arena are clear but stutter.

Films shot in all other arenas flash day/night and stutter.

Even when I record in fraps it shows the stuttering video when played back. I have never seen this before, can't find a forum that resolves it, and Skuzzy is off today.  :furious
Be careful what you shoot at. Most things
in here don't react too well to bullets.

I find this on newly recorded films, but after a day or 2 they are ok.  Not sure if information relating to the film continues to be downloaded when you are online or what?

I find that reducing you graphic's in Ace High II the object detail and the ground Detail Range helps a bit.  If you want a better FPS try also using the Medium vis rang which is the "shift f2" key in game then start up the film viewer. It might also work while you are in film viewer but i have not tried it. Do you want to show air to air or air to ground sortie's?
All you do is vulch & run
