Being Halloween and all, we were talking about some old ghost stories that used to scare us as kids. Anyways, I remember one that I can not remember fully.
It was about a castle maybe, but it basically included a father of an influential family dieing, and the body of such being put into a crypt that upon closing dumped it underneath to a sort of monster that ate the body. As part of the son taking over the father's duties, he had to go down to see the monster, which was bricked in. Any who, they all go see it and the young son looks ill after and seems soon to die.
Anyone remember the name of this story?
