Pilot Wounds
« on: November 04, 2007, 09:35:54 PM »
Ok I haven't had much time to play lately. So this weeked I fly lets say 12 Missions. I have just gotten my 7th Pilot wound. Now my question is ...... I do have my View set up high so I can see better in turns. Does this have something to do with it?
  Can everyone have such a Great shot that they can Hit the Pilot from In front, Behind and from under the plane?

No. You just have a streak of bad luck. Happens sometimes.

i've found certain planes are prone to certain types of damage.

what do you typically fly?

479th. I'd bet mostly the P-38 in which case i'm surprised you didn't have 11 pilot hits.

I took a pilot wound from low 6 in a 262 after making a pass on some bombers..

died before reaching base.. lancaster gunner must have been lee harvey.
