Anyone own one? I'm considering a pair of these for the kids for Xmas.

Anyone have experience with them? It appears you can play music (like an Ipod?) watch  video, and play games on them. (Shrugs)

We bought one for our step-grandson last Christmas. He enjoys it, and the game selection is good. It will play music and videos, and if you can find them, movies from the small DVD's. I find all those dang buttons confusing dagnabbit.

Thanks MT.

I was teetoring on getting an Xbox 360 in Sept.  Then their computer died, and they spend more time on the 'puter than their old Xbox, so I replaced the 'puter with a new duo core machine (Dell).   I told them if they want to update their old Xbox to an Xbox 360, to save their money up together and buy one (We had them do this for the original Xbox 4 years ago)

They are really so active outside the house that I can't justify an Xbox360, but the PSP I can...sometimes there is 2 hour wait between wrestling matches, and these tournaments are all-day things...so there is alot of down time during wrestling season. The PSP seems like a good time killer while waiting for ones next match up.

Hey Rip-

My wife and I picked up a PSP for her dad for Christmas last year or the year before... anyway, long story short, the thing is super cool.

The games are great, you can listen to music, and they make movies for them too... We don't buy him the movies though because it's easy and much more economical to burn your DVD's and save them onto the PSP's memory stick :)

Also... it is wireless so you can surf the web on it and play lan games.

I love the thing :o :aok
