Got ping plotter and daily dropped packets were getting worse. I was getting dropped from the game five to ten times in a few hours. I was at the point of canceling the acct when I called Bellsouth after reading many threads here of issues with ISP as opposed to the gamer servers being at fault. ATT checked the lines, re-provisioned my account, then sent a technician out, after spending considerable time on my lines he replace the Westell modem with a Netopia... and no dropped connections since. Issue resolved.
