I saw American Gangster this weekend....I loved it. The acting and the story was very entertaining. Did any of you see it? What did you think?

watched it the other day.

just a TAD too long for my tastes, but I can't think of what I would have cut from the film.

I really enjoyed it.  Not as good as the Departed, but not far from it either.

I got to see it Saturday, good movie, entertaining, and just a little too long.  I couldnt help myself though watching for stuff that was out of place, like the Open/Close sign on the one door near the beginning of the movie.

They probably could have cut the parts with Richie's domestic issues, I dont see how it really contributed to the story.

I saw it today and I enjoyed it.

Some stuff didnt make much sense in the movie but overall I would see it again.  Like airscrew said Richie's part in the movie did not make much sense at all.
