the destroyers in the cv fleets are pathetic, pointless, and boring, all i use them for is to tell what way the fleet is sailing when landing...

if you fly close to the destroyers, you can see at least one 5'' gun, i would love it if i could use them, and doing this would cut down on the threads asking for more ship's/ack, just make more manned aaa, cause the auto aaa is just plain pathetic and doesnt do much at all...

Manned 5" and 8" are deadly on the CVs in the right hands.  The 8"ers make short work of a town.  5"ers make short work of all icon range planes.

Wow, I wish I could attack the CVG's that you are.  if anything the auto-ack is too effective

Since playing this game (and yes I have been around enemy cv's a good amount of time) I have only taken damage from puffy act twice, and that was on the same night, one sortie right after the first.

Auto puffy ack isn't all that effective, but a 5" (manned puffy ack) can be and is.  Monday morning I defended 2 different CV's from attack.  I landed 22 kills in 30 minutes.  Too bad they don't count for much other than saving the CV.
