Sounds folder organization

Question about sounds folders.

Over the years I've made a mishmash of sounds, picking and choosing among packs...and frankly my sounds folders (and the variety of backed up old sound folders) has become an ungodly mess. Some of the newer packs and updates are truly sweet, and as I've gone through them sound by sound I've noticed that some include common sounds in every planes' folder, but I think I've seen some that only have the plane specific ones in the folder.

So here's the question. If I put the sound for the 303 gun in the master "AH2/Sounds" folder, and put NO 303 sound in the specific plane folder (say, the Hurri I), will AH grab the sound from the common "sounds" folder, or will it get stuck in the "sounds/HurriI folder"?

Of course, its saves a lot of copy/paste work (not to mention disk space)  if I want to change a single sound in the common folder instead of having to include it in every single applicable plane folder.

Common sense is trying to not be an idiot right now

Yeah, it'll work just fine.

I could've done this on my latest stuff, but it makes it seem like the packs are lacking something.
